I tried this on myself before offering to clients! It passed the test with flying colors!! A deep dark tan that lasts. I love that it can be used as a “rapid” for those that like to shower before bed or a regular 8+ hr solution. It’s my new favorite. However, it is a little on the pricey side.

I have been tanning with the same solution for 7 years because I haven’t found anything better …. Until I tried X tan ! So far I have tried 4 different types of solutions from X tan and every one is FLAWLESS !!!

I wasn’t happy with another brand of solution I was using since they reformulated it. After a lot of research I tried obsidian x and noticed better qualities instantly! This solution lays so nice and can get DARK. This is my new go to!

The color is perfect but I do not like how it’s splotchy when coming off. I have not found a spray tan solution (YET) that does not do this so I am still trying all the brands but Xtan is perfect in all areas other than all my clients said it is splotchy when fading when I called them to follow up.

Obsidian X is a thicker solution than most and with different solutions of different viscosities, you may need to adjust your gun settings to allow more the thicker solution to spray through the gun than you might need for something thinner like a water/alcohol based solution! Hope this helps :)
Used it on a pagent girl. 2nd time spraying her she won her Pagent. She rinsed after 8hrs. I did 1. 5 coats. She did wash her hands after 2hrs. They turned out great. I will say I personally didn't like the smell as I was spraying her like I do of Bronzite.

I have been spraying 13 years and decided to finally start using rapids. I tried a few others and wasn't totally impressed. I got a sample of Obsidian X, and was blown away. It is absolutely perfect. I'm now using it exclusively on pretty much everyone. XTAN for the absolute WIN!

One of the best solutions on the market to date. It goes on like silk, and does not leave your skin feeling dry even if sleeping in it. I sprayed a 7 lady bacheloretty party last week 11 days ago and while the tans on the faces have faded, the girls are just now seeing it fade. This is AFTER going into a swimming pool/hot tub for two nights in a row right after getting spray tanned the night before.
